We had a great trip to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We left Wednesday and drove straight to Santa Cruz. We went to ride a train thru the big trees. We found some great places to eat on the wharf. Walked on the beach. Then we went to Monterey and the aquarium. We had a spectacular drive down the Pacific Cost Highway. Our last night was in Morro Bay. We could'nt have asked for better weather. We had so much fun. It was great just spending time together. Great to get away, good to be home.
The family is growing. It took bribing with M&M's but we managed to get all the gradkids in the picture. Our newest edition is Sam. We just went to Arizona for his blessing. The next grandson is due next month. Good times!

My Christmas tree has been down for several days, but I did get a picture before I took it down. As promised here is a picture of my all white tree.
The first day of Summer is tomorrow, but I have 7 more days to work. I can hardly wait. Our summer visits have already started. We had a great little visit with John, Shannyn and Jack. We are excitedly waiting for Laura and kids to come at the end of this week. I thought I would post something from John's visit. It was too cloudy all week for any one to want to swim. I'ts supposed to warm up next week so Laura and fam should be able to enjoy the pool. Tomorrow is Father's Day. Pops got his present today. I got him a chair for the bedroom. Thanks John for the suggestion of Boang from Ikea. It is perfect. He likes it. I think he is already watching the Angels v Dodgers in it. Laura, I need some help arranging the bedroom furniture now. I know there is plenty of space for a chair. I just have to figure out where to put everything.
Just had to post this picture of me and Henry Winkler. He came to our school today. Talked about his dyslexia. He has written a series of books called "Hank Ziffer" the hero in the book has learning disabilities. We had his books at the Scholastic Book fair so kids got their books signed. The kids loved him. He seems like a really nice guy. Looking forward to visitors this month.
We had a great visit with Laura, Kevin, Lilly and Max. It's a wonderful way to spend Valentine's with people you love. Thanks to all the dead presidents who gave their lives for this country so we could have a 3-day weekend. I did a couple of scrap pages.
